  What is a dual-purpose battery?​

  The Lilead S-series battery is designed for both deep cycling and engine starting. With powerful lithium cells and an in-house developed BMS, it can deliver up to 1800A of peak current—enough to start a 735kW diesel engine(starter motor 8.5KW). If your starting battery fails, this deep-cycle battery can serve as a reliable backup starter.

  What is the Reserve Jump Start feature?​

  This feature is enabled by default on all Lilead S-series batteries. When the battery is  automatically shut down due to power protection，it will retain the 20% remaining power as a reserve, ensuring you can still restart or return safely if needed.

  What is a communication-enabled battery and what are the benefits?​

  A

  A communication-enabled battery has a built-in interface (e.g., CANBus or NMEA 2000) that allows it to connect with marine displays or smart devices to monitor its status in real-time.

  Why does my fishing boat need an NMEA 2000 battery?​

  Lilead Pro series batteries support NMEA 2000 and can transmit data directly to your chartplotter (Garmin, Raymarine, B&G, etc.)—no need to connect via phone or Bluetooth. While using trolling motors, you can check the remaining runtime anytime and plan your return intelligently.

  Can the battery be used or charged in cold environments?​

  A

  Yes. The battery supports an optional heating function, enabling safe charging even in low temperatures—ideal for winter fishing.

  Do your batteries use a master-slave architecture?​

  A

  No. Lilead batteries use a distributed system. Each battery has its own built-in BMS and communication module, so there’s no need for a master controller. This makes the system more flexible and easier to expand.

  Can a single battery power all appliances in an RV?​

  A

  Yes. One 12V (S110) battery can reliably support a 12V 3kVA inverter, while the 24V (S24110) 24V 5kVA model can drive a 5kW inverter—handling your fridge, AC, microwave, and more with ease.

  Can the battery communicate with inverters? Is it compatible with Victron systems?​

  Yes. The battery comes with a CANBus interface and is preconfigured to be compatible with Victron and other leading energy systems.
